St Margaret Mary Catholic Primary School
Who are we and what do we do?
The school council is a formal group of children who act as representatives of their classmates in discussing school issues with the headteacher and staff. It’s a brilliant way of representing and contributing to Pupil Voice in the school.
The council meet every other week and plan with Mr Denny and Mrs Nixon things to do over the year on how to make the school a better place for everyone.
All the members of the School Council are voted in by their peers and they contribute in many ways to developing and shaping the school environment. They are heavily involved in many schemes including developing policy and the school site.
