The St Ninian PGCE Route

The St Ninian Catholic Teacher Training route is one that guarantees at least two placements in Catholic Primary schools in Cumbria. 

The course runs in partnership with the school, the Catholic Diocese of Lancaster and the University of Cumbria, ensuring a working partnership between Catholic schools in the county whilst allowing access to the Catholic Certificate of Religious Studies (CCRS).

Our PGCE students work hard to ensure the best for all our children whilst gaining valuable experience in a variety of settings enabling themselves to develop professionally. We are always trying to find smarter ways to work with our practice being research-driven.
