MP Visit

As part of our Give it Up Day and to reinforce British Values, we were visited today by our MP John Stevenson. It was a pleasure to show him round the school where he met our children including our EYFS. As part of our Give it Up Day to mark The Feast of the Sacred Heart, Yr 6 had a question and answer session where they quizzed him on topics about how the Government aim to help the less fortunate including questions on the  cost of living, homelessness, race and culture within the city and what Carlisle has to off offer them in the future.

Thankyou to Mr Stevenson and Mrs Homer for taking the time to visit the school. Carlisle is a great city and there is a lot we should be thankful for and to hear about how aspirational our children are - as well as aiming to be modern day Saints, I think a few who now might be considering a future in politics.
